HOW TO PLAY
For each of the Triple Crown races, participants will be given 50 Classic Dollars to "purchase" three (3) horses running in that particular race. Please note - the "dollars" are fictional and are for use in the contest only. All participants must purchase three (3) horses for their stable and the cost of any one horse will not exceed 30 Classic Dollars. Participants are not required to use all of their Classic Dollars, however please note that Classic Dollars left unused will NOT be carried forward to subsequent races. Horse selections for all races will open as soon as possible following the posting of the morning line odds for each race.
SCORING
Each horse in a participant's stable will be awarded points based upon their respective finish position for each race. The total points available will be determined upon the number of entries for each race. The maximum points for each is 100 - based upon a full field. For example, if 20 horses are entered in the Kentucky Derby, the horse finishing first will receive 100 points. The horse finishing last will receive one point. All horses in between will receive points based on a sliding scale. If, however, only 10 horses are entered in the Belmont Stakes, first place will only receive 50 points.
WINNER SELECTION
This is a game of skill. Winners will be determined by the objective criteria set forth above. From all eligible entries received, the winners will be the players who accumulate the most points according to these "Official Rules." Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible registrations received and skill level of each entrant.
Winners will be determined before 5:00 p.m. EDT, June 15th, 2012. Winning entries must confirm residence and eligibility to receive prizes.
PRIZES
The grand prize winner - that being the entrant with the greatest number of cumulative points at the end of the 3 races - will receive:
- $2,500 in Classic Equine Equipment manufactured product. Prize money cannot be applied toward shipping charges.
